SANGRUR: The Malerkotla police have arrested two persons and seized 500 gm opium and Rs 6.40 lakh from their possession.

The Malerkotla police have arrested two persons and seized 500 gm opium and Rs 6.40 lakh from their possession.

“On Wednesday evening, we arrested Karm Singh and Omvir from Dhuri road and seized 500 gm opium and Rs 6.40 lakh from their possession. We have registered a case under the NDPS Act and started further investigations,” said Assistant Sub Inspector Avtar Singh.
