Two dead in factory fire in Bahadurgarh

Two employees were found dead inside a laboratory at the third floor of Creative High Tech, a cooler manufacturing unit, in Bahadurgarh town today. The factory had witnessed a major fire incident on Friday evening and it is suspected that some labourers might have be trapped inside.

The deceased have been identified as Deepak Thakur, a resident of Patna, and Shoaib Ansari, a resident of Meerut (Uttar Pradesh). Suffocation is believed to be the cause of their death. The duo was working at the laboratory when the factory caught fire.

The bodies were recovered when police and Fire Department officials went inside the factory this morning. TR Paliwal, Fire officer, said that the cause of fire was yet to be ascertained and efforts were on to put off the flames.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Joon and DSP Ajaib Singh inspected the factory.
