Two arrested for murder

JHAJJAR: The police have arrested two persons for the murder of an employee of a private company whose body was found lying in the fields of his Dhakora village on November 24.

The police have arrested two persons for the murder of an employee of a private company whose body was found lying in the fields of his Dhakora village on November 24. Those arrested have been identified as Naresh and Sumit, alias Kalia, also residents of Dahkora village.

“During interrogation, the accused disclosed that they consumed liquor with victim Sachin at a room in the fields and later got into a verbal duel with him over some issue. They thrashed Sachin to death and fled,” said a police spokesman. He added that the accused were arrested from the area under the jurisdiction of Aasoda police station. Sachin had gone out of his house on November 23 evening but did not return. His body was found lying in the fields of Dhakora village. A case has been registered.— TNS
