Tributes paid to Olympian Surjit

JALANDHAR: To pay tributes to Late Surjit Singh, Hockey Olympian, on his 35th death anniversary, a programme was organised by the Surjit Hockey Society at Hans Raj Stadium, Jalandhar. Rajinder Beri MLA, Jalandhar Central, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

To pay tributes to Late Surjit Singh, Hockey Olympian, on his 35th death anniversary, a programme was organised by the Surjit Hockey Society at Hans Raj Stadium, Jalandhar. Rajinder Beri MLA, Jalandhar Central, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Hockey sticks, table tennis table, boxing kits, badminton kits and other sports equipment were distributed among budding players of the state.
