Trains rescheduled, diverted from January 23 to February 8

Several trains have been rescheduled and diverted due to the interlocking work on the Alwar-Bandikui section. Some of trains have been cancelled from January 23 to February 8, while other trains have been diverted or rescheduled.

The interlocking work will upgrade infrastructure along the section.

The interlocking work will also be the Son Nagar junction of Mughalsarai division. It will affect the rail traffic till January 29.

As per the revised list received from railway officials, many express trains have been rescheduled. Tata Nagar Junction-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express will ply on January 16, 21 and 23; Jammu Tawi-Kolkata Sealdah Express will run daily from January 15 to 29; Ahmedabad-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express on January 27; Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Ahmedabad Express on January 29; Amritsar-Ajmer Express on January 29 would be diverted via Rewari-Fulera junction chord line on dates mentioned against each

Timings have been revised for a few trains. These are Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Karmbhoomi Express (3.30 hours) and Ghazipur City-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (2.20 hours). Ajmer-Jammu Tawi Express and Amritsar-Ajmer Express will be regulated for 40 minutes (at Malakhera). 

Besides, Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Karmbhoomi Express and Jammu Tawi-Tirupari Humsafar Express will be diverted via an alternate route between Ludhiana and Ambala Cantt.

Ajmer-Amritsar Express, Amritsar-Ajmer Express, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Anand Vihar Terminus (New Delhi), Chandigarh-Amritsar-Chandigarh Intercity Express, Jammu Tawi-Kolkata Sealdah Express, Jammu Tawi-Bathinda Express, Saharsa-Amritsar-Saharsa Jansewa Express, Amritsar-Darbhanga Jannayak Express and Katihar-Amritsar-Katihar Amrapali Express trains were cancelled for the day.
