Three persons were injured in a bloody clash between private transporters near the PSPCL office in Budhlada. All the injured were rushed to the Budhlada Civil Hospital, but seeing their condition they were referred to the Mansa Civil Hospital.

Doctors claimed that the condition of Seeta Singh was serious, but all the three injured were out of danger.

Undergoing treatment, Seeta Singh of Baba Transport company said a few days ago somebody made a booking of lifting of paddy from Budhlada to Kaithal through his transport and as per the same he was ready to take the loaded truck of paddy, but suddenly other private transporters, which are being supported by some operators of the truck union Budhlada attacked them.

He said in this attack drive Nazar Singh, cleaner Jagsir Singh and he has been injured. He further told that people took them to civil hospital Budhlada, where doctor referred them to Mansa civil hospital.

Budhlada city police station SHO Gurmail Singh said they have received a medical report from civil hospital in which it is written that three injured have got admitted and when the police team reached at civil hospital to record the statement by then they were referred to civil hospital, Mansa.

He also stated that in initial probe it has come out that both the transporters had old rivalry and today they come face to face while passing, which led to verbal abuse and later it turned into bloody clash. He also stated that they are further probing the incident.

Truck union Budladha president Ranjit Singh said he has no information regarding any such clash.
