Three held with heroin, intoxicants

The police claimed to have arrested a peddler and recovered 10,500 intoxicant pills from his possession in a Fazilka village. Official sources said a police patrolling party nabbed Kala Singh of Aslamwala village near the bus stand of the village and recovered 10,500 intoxicant pills from his possession.

In another incident, the police arrested Sukhwinder Singh of Ferozepur district and Gaurav Sharma of Fazilka near MR Government College and recovered 30 gram heroin from their possession. All the accused have been booked under the NDPS Act.
