Three arrested with motorcycles, cash

Police personnel at the CIA Staff Commissionerate today nabbed three youths, allegedly involved in loot and burglary incidents.

The accused have been identified as Manish Kumar, alias Khanna, and Amarjit Singh, both residents of Hoshiarpur, and Vishal, alias Ravinder Kumar, a resident of Jalandhar Cantt. They were held at a checkpoint in the focal point area.

Talking to mediapersons, DCP, Investigation, Gurmeet Singh said the police seized four bikes, 28 mobile phones, two laptops and Rs 1,35,000 in cash from the suspects. A case under Sections 379 and 411 of the IPC has been registered against the accused.

DCP further informed that several cases under the NDPS Act and snatching had also been registered against the supects at various police divisions.
