FORE School of Management, New Delhi, has tied up with Risk Management Institute of National University of Singapore for PGDM in financial management programme to offer ‘Specialist Diploma in Credit Risk Management’. The programme provides structured coverage of core finance courses, including financial accounting, corporate finance, financial reporting and analysis and spreadsheet modelling.

Dr Kapil Dua appointed on board of American body

Dr Kapil Dua, chairman and chief hair transplant surgeon at AK Clinics, Ludhiana, has been elected on the Board of Directors of American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dena Bank launches ‘Mission 9999’ to recover pending dues

In order to  bring down the corporate NPAs during the current and next quarters through recovery in some major corporate accounts, Dena Bank has launched Mission 9999 to reduce the total NPA level from Rs 16,140 crore to Rs 9999 crore by March 2019. This was disclosed by Karnam Sekar, CEO & MD, Dena Bank, in Panchkula recently.

Over 80 SBI pensioners attended a talk on cancer awareness, which was held at SBI's Regional Office in Sector 5, Panchkula, recently. The talk was delivered by Dr (Brig) Rajeshwar Singh, Director, Medical Oncology, Paras Hospital. It focused on how cancer can be prevented by simple lifestyle changes such as avoiding use of tobacco, eating a healthy diet, avoiding drinking alcohol and maintaining a healthy weight.

Achievers Foundation holds exhibition at Dharamsala

Achievers  Foundation, an NGO, recently orgainsed 'Ujwal Himachal Pradesh' - a mega exhibition for three days at Dharamsala recently. Skill laboratory launched at Grecian Hospital, Mohali

To enable surgeons get a first-hand experience in advanced laparoscopic procedures, a skill lab (equipped with eight endotrainers) has been installed at Grecian Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali, in a first-of-its-kind initiative in the region. On this occasion, the hospital organised a two-day workshop on introductory course to advanced laparoscopic surgery. It was attended by over 20 surgeons from across the region.
