The rising stars

India’s first ever award for debutants in various fields was held in Mumbai recently. Sixteen rising stars from Bollywood, royalty, corporate and politics were felicitated during this one-of-a-kind affair which was at par with the international version of the Debutants’ Gala.

India’s first ever award for debutants in various fields was held in Mumbai recently. Sixteen rising stars from Bollywood, royalty, corporate and politics were felicitated during this one-of-a-kind affair which was at par with the international version of the Debutants’ Gala. From Bollywood, who gathered to make their debut at the gala included director Imtiaz Ali’s daughter Ida Ali and AR Rahman’s three children - Khatija, Raheema and Ameen Rahman.

Others were Bibaji Seherinder Kaur Sahiba– Princess of Patiala, Princess Adishree Singh and Prince Ranvijay Singh of Jammu & Kashmir, Shloka Birla–young heir of the Birla family and Bhavana Reddy–dancer, to name a few. 

The event served as a platform to introduce the young heirs of creatively renowned families to the nation. These young men and women were presented as the torch-bearers of their great legacies.
