The PM’s man

Actor Darshan Kumaar, who has been a part of films such as Mary Kom and Sarbjit, has been roped in to play a pivotal role in PM Narendra Modi. The biopic, which is being produced by Legend Global Studio, will mark Darshan Kumaar’s third collaboration with the studio. Interestingly, both Mary Kom and Sarbjit were by the same makers.

Confirming the news, producer Sandip Singh says, “This is Darshan’s third film with us. It’s wonderful to be teaming up with him for PM Narendra Modi. His character will play a key role in the film’s story.”

When contacted, Darshan said, “I’m really grateful to Legend Global Studio for the fact that whenever the studio has made a film, I’m always a part of that. Honored to be a part of the biggest biopic.”

The film is a biopic that will traverse the journey of Narendra Damodar Modi from his beginnings to his years as Chief Minister and finally his landmark election as the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy. Vivek Oberoi plays the title role in the film.
