As we are reaching close to the year-end, it’s time to reward the best of Bollywood for 2018. Kick-starting the first awards function, Star Screen Awards-2018 was held in Mumbai on Sunday.
The event saw a host of Bollywood A-listers in attendance. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Shraddha Kapoor, and Rekha among others turned up for the function.
The Best Actor Male award went to two actors - Ranveer Singh for Padmaavat and Rajkummar Rao for Stree. Alia Bhatt was awarded the Best Actor Female for her performance in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi. Critic’s choice award went to Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao for their stellar performance in Badhaai Ho. Actor Shabana Azmi was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award while The Best Debut was won by Dhadak actor Ishaan Khatter and Pataaka actor Radhika Mohan. Sriram Raghavan was announced as Best Director for Andhadhun and Best Film went to Mulk.
