Teachers’ weeklong protest from today

PATIALA: Schoolteachers have once again decided to launch a weeklong protest against the Congress government from Wednesday. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Adhyapak Sangarsh Committee in Patiala. The protest will start from Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee chief Sunil Jakhar’s constituency, Gurdaspur. The Congress is going to face strong opposition from the state teachers. The teachers will also hold a weeklong protest at the district level before their state-level flag march in Patiala on May 14.
