Swami Vivekananda remembered

To remember ideas profouded by Swami Vivekanand, a declamation contest was organised at DAV College here today. Students were enthused and inspired by the principal of the college Dr Kiranjeet Randhawa with the spirit of competiton.

Participants threw light on the life and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, who accorded a clarion call to the world, especially the youth of India, to awake, arise and did not stop till the goal was achieved.

He taught the religion of universal fraternity and humanity.

Principal Dr Kiranjeet Randhawa gave away the prizes.
