Students take part in paper-reading contest on AIDS

To apprise students of the causes, precautions and cure of AIDS, a paper-reading competition was organised at DAV college. The competition was organised by the Department of Computer. Students were apprised of promiscuous and unsafe physical relations between infected partners and re-used needles.

Speakers also talked about the precautions to be taken to curb the disease. They threw light on the gravity and seriousness of the epidemic. Akash, Harnoor and Simran pocketed the first second and the third prize respectively. oC
