St Soldier Group signs MoU with Canadian university

JALANDHAR: Offering an opportunity to the students of the state, St Soldier Group of Institutions has signed the Memorandum of Understanding( MoU) with the Royal Roads University (RRU), Canada.

Offering an opportunity to the students of the state, St Soldier Group of Institutions has signed the Memorandum of Understanding( MoU) with the Royal Roads University (RRU), Canada. The MoU was signed jointly by Prince Chopra pro-chairman of the St Soldier Group and Tasha Welsh, Director International, Royal Roads, University, Victoria, BC, Canada.

Addressing the mediapersons, Chopra said: “As the craze for studying in Canada is increasing among students in Punjab, we have started Canada Pathway Programmes with Royal Roads University for Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology.”

Manhar Arora, managing director of the institution said: “This is an articulating agreement, in which student can take the credit of their studies at St Soldier Group of Institutions to Royal Roads University. They can complete two years in India and two years in Canada.”

“Participating students will receive degree from Royal Roads, University, Canada, thus saving two years Canadian fee in dollars and receive the university degree instead of college diplomas,” he added.

Tasha Welsh of RRU said: “We welcome the MoU and will facilitate the block transfer of students from St Soldier with appropriate prerequisite qualifications into the third year at the RRU in any of the following degree that students opt.”
