It will be a memorable moment for Class VIII student Arnav Saini of Kharkhoda town in the district when he will sit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the control room of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) at Bengaluru to witness the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the moon on September 7.
Arnav’s father Ram Singh Saini Yadav, who runs a computer centre at Kharkhoda, said that the invitation from ISRO was received three days back. Arnav will go to Bengaluru along with his maternal uncle.
He said that Arnav and Nishta Sharma from Panchkula were selected after clearing a national level 10-day online examination. He said that a boy and a girl from every state had been selected to participate in the programme.
