Sonepat best during Swasth Bharat Yatra

Sonepat: The district was on Tuesday awarded the first position and a certificate of appreciation as the best performing city during the Swasth Bharat Yatra. The award and the certificate were handed over to Dr JS Punia, Civil Surgeon, and Dr Geeta Dahiya, Deputy Civil Surgeon, in New Delhi by Pawan Bansal, Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. During the yatra's five-day journey in the district, activities were carried out in educational institutions, markets, hotels and parks to spread awareness about good health and eating habits. OC
