Solan board suffers Rs 59 lakh losses

HP State Electricity Board Limited suffered a loss worth Rs 59 lakh in Solan district on Thursday due to inclement weather where high velocity winds and rain had lashed the district. The SE, HP State Electricity Board limited, said maximum damage was suffered in the Kasauli, Dharampur, Kotbeja, Dagshai, Chail, Barog, Domehar and Mamlig areas where power supply remained disrupted for several hours. He said the power supplied was restored in most of the areas on Friday — TNS
