Students and faculty members of Silver Oaks School participated in the annual prize distribution function here on Friday.

Barninder Paul Sekhon, director of the school, presided over the event as the chief guest. Music choir of the school enthralled the audience.

The chief guest along with Ravinder Sra, principal of the school, presented certificates to the winners of classes I to V who excelled in various activities and competitions, including literary, art and craft and sports, throughout the year.

There was a cultural extravaganza presented by students of the school wherein a medley of various poems, solo songs and electrifying dance performances was presented to celebrate the accomplishment. The chief guest quoted Robert Frost and motivated and inspired the students to participate in more and more activities and competitions. The event concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
