The Shabd Guru Yatra, which started on January 7 from Sultanpur Lodhi in Kapurthala district, on Wednesday reached Muktsar district after covering Fazilka district.
The yatra was welcomed by former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and a large number of people, who paid obeisance to the weapons and other belongings of the Guru Sahibs.
Notably, the yatra will visit various villages in Muktsar district till February 10. From the beginning of the day, a large number of people were standing at Pakki Tibbi village with flower petals in their hands.
Badal said people were lucky that they had the opportunity to pay obeisance to the yatra. Notably, the yatra will conclude at Sultanpur Lodhi on April 17.
