Sessions Judge visits Central Jail

BATHINDA: District and Sessions Judge Kamaljit Lamba, who is also the Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Bathinda, along with Civil Judge (Senior Division) Kapil Dev Singla, visited the Central Jail here on Friday.

District and Sessions Judge Kamaljit Lamba, who is also the Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Bathinda, along with Civil Judge (Senior Division) Kapil Dev Singla, visited the Central Jail here on Friday.

They inspected all blocks, barracks, hospital and kitchen. Besides, they interacted with inmates, who were apprised of their right to free legal aid.

The Civil Judge (Senior Division) said the National Lok Adalat would be organised on December 14. All matters pending in courts would be taken up.

Litigants were urged to take maximum benefit of the Lok Adalat. No appeal can be filed against the order passed in the Lok Adalat.
