To start work for quality admissions in the upcoming session 2019-20, around 100 chairmen, directors and principals of affiliated colleges a session was held on the main campus of IK Gujral Punjab Technical University with affiliated colleges’ authorities.
Prof (Dr) Ajay Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, IK Gujral Punjab Technical University said the university was always ready to work jointly to improve admissions.
He shared the statistics of last admission year’s admission contribution, including financial expenditure and other administrative decisions.
The Vice-Chancellor got feedback from invited chairmen directors and principals. University’s director, academics Dr Balkar Singh shared last year’s admission statistics with the house and raised a point related to mandatory requirements to be ensured by the colleges.
A lecture on ‘Academic Leadership through Universal Human Values (UHV)’ was delivered by Prof (Dr) Rajiv Sangal, Chairman, National Coordination Committee for Student Induction Programme, (AICTE) New Delhi.
