To apprise people of the government for construction of Lord Rama temple in Ayodhya, Parashuram Sena organised a ‘Sri Ram Mandir Nirman Sankalp Yatra’ under the patronage of district president, Ashutosh Sharma.
The ‘yatra commenced from Shakti Mandir in Nai Abadi. Those present pledged to construct Ram temple in Ayodhya. They submitted a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister to the Deputy Commissioner.
District president Ashutosh Sharma said for 550 years people were fighting for the construction of the temple. The BJP made it main political issue and made the Hindus believe that the temple would be built as soon as possible.
In 1992, lakhs of devotees gathered in Ayodhya and erased the structure of Babri Masjid.
For the past four years, the BJP government did not take any concrete steps to construct the temple. The memorandum demands from the Union Govt to bring the ordinance for construction of the temple.
Vijay Arora, Pankaj Bedi, Rajiv Sharma, secretary, Rohit Rawal, Sherpur Bahtian, president Harish Dogra Nayanwal, chairman Vikram Vijay, among others, were present.
