SDMC realising parking charges despite HC order: AAP

NEW DELHI:The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today alleged that parking fee was being “illegally” realised despite a Delhi High Court order in areas falling under the BJP-ruled South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) in the city.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today alleged that parking fee was being “illegally” realised despite a Delhi High Court order in areas falling under the BJP-ruled South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) in the city.

AAP leader Dilip Pandey claimed that the parking charges are being realised from vehicle owners driving to hospitals, malls and shopping complexes in the SDMC jurisdiction despite the High court order barring the same.

AAP's Leader of Opposition in the SDMC Praveen Rajput alleged that when he tried to raise the matter in the House meeting of the corporation a notice was served to expel him from it.
