Karan Public School, Panchkula, organised its seventh annual function ‘Karanotsav’. The function began with Saraswati Vandana, followed by cultural programmes depicting various dances such as Haryanvi, Rajasthani and Punjabi. A mime show was the highlight of the event. Panchkula MLA Gian Chand Gupta was the chief guest, Panchkula DSP Anil Kumar was the guest of honour. The function ended with a vote of thanks by Principal Mamta Sharma.

KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School ,Sector 7-B, Chandigarh, organised its fourth NSS camp. Interactive sessions by Komal Saini, branch in-charge, Election Commission, Chandigarh Administration, Jatin Kumar, programming in charge, Election Commission, marked the day. They highlighted the pre-requisites of voting. The second session was on anger management by child psychologist Tanvi Seth.

Rainbow International School, Sector 27-D, organised its annual function at Punjab Kala Bhawan, Sector 16. The aim was to identify the latent talent of tiny tots. Director Lakhwinder Singh welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion.

GN Holy Heart Public (Smart) School, Mauli Jagran, celebrated its annual day at Tagore Theatre with enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Director Lal Singh Sarwana. Principal Jaswinder Kaur Sarwana read out the school’s annual report. KG students presented a welcome dance, followed by a dance performance on butterfly song by pre-Nursery students. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony.
Blue Bird High School
Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula, organised its annual sports meet for classes II, III and IV. The meet was declared open with torch lighting by the chief guest, Maj Gen IP Majithia, and carried by taekwondo champion Umang Verma. Students displayed their sportsmanship and energy by participating in various events such as relay race, sack race, roll the ball, dribble the football and many more. Class X meritorious students were also honoured with trophies.
DC Model School
Kindergarten students of DC Model Senior Secondary School, Panchkula, celebrated their annual Sports Day. The event began with Stuti Vandana. Students participated in races such as bag-pack race, balloon race, ball-bucket race and zig-zag race. Director BB Gupta appreciated the hardwork of sports teachers and participants.

NRI Public School, Dera Bassi, celebrated Christmas with great fervour and enthusiasm. The entire school vibrated with the echoes of Christmas carols. Several activities such as decorating Christmas trees and stockings, making Christmas cards and hand-crafted bells were organised for students.

Sri Sukhmani International School, Dera Bassi, celebrated Christmas the festive spirit. All tiny tots were dressed as Santa Claus. The programme started with prayer songs. A play based on the story of the birth of Jesus Christ was also staged.
