Eligibility: Female applicants, who are going to complete their full-time major or minor in computer science, engineering, information science, data science, electrical or electronics engineering, maths or computing stream, are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Details: Selected candidates will be given tuition fee waiver for the rest of their program me concluding in session 2019-20; opportunity to join summer internship at Adobe India in 2019; be mentored from senior technology leaders at Adobe and a trip to Grace Hopper Conference India, inclusive of participation fees.

Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme

Security Directorate, Ministry of Railways, Government of India has announced this scholarship to promote professional and technical education for maximum of two wards of/and the widows of ex, serving RPF or RPSF personnel, who are below the gazetted officer rank.

Eligibility: Applicants, who have scored 60 per cent and above in Class XII, diploma or graduation who are pursuing professional or technical degree course recognized by government like AICTE, MCI, UGC, NCTE, etc. are eligible for this call. 

Details:As many as 150 scholarships will be given 

under this scheme in which Rs 2,000 per month will be given to male candidates and female candidates will be provided with Rs 2,250 per month.

Financial Assistance 

The Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, is extending monetary help to the wards of beedi, cine, IOMC and LSDM workers in order to save their lives from the hazardous sector of being a labour. It also covers children of contract labourer and gharkhataworkers.

Eligibility: Students of Class 1-X from any government recognised school, whose one of the  parent is a beedi worker, iron ore manganese or chrome ore mines worker, limestone and dolomite mines or cine worker from last six-month can apply. The monthly family income must not be more than INR 10K. For cine worker’s wards, the income eligibility slab is Rs 8,000 p.m. It is mandatory for the applicant to clear the  last examination in one attempt.

Details: Scholarship amount varying between Rs 250 and Rs 1840, will be given to both girls and boys.

For minorities

The Ministry of Minority Affairs, is helping students from minority community by providing  economic assistant to students. 

Eligibility: Students of Class XI to PhD, who have scored minimum 50 per cent or equivalent in previous final exam with annual family income not exceeding Rs 2 lakh are eligible. 

Details: Varying admission fee, tuition fee and maintenance allowance will be given to hostellers and day scholars.
