Samrala athlete Rupinder Gill brings laurels

SAMRALA:Rupinder Singh Gill, a member of the Samrala Hockey Club, did his city proud when he won the gold medal during the Punjab State Master Games Athletics Championship held at Lovely University, Jalandhar sports stadium.

Samrala, January 28

Rupinder Singh Gill, a member of the Samrala Hockey Club, did his city proud when he won the gold medal during the Punjab State Master Games Athletics Championship held at Lovely University, Jalandhar sports stadium.

Rupinder Gill participated in a 400-metre race in 45-plus category and won the gold medal for the fourth time. Another player of Lopon village near Samrala also participated in 100-metre race and won the silver medal.

The hockey club expressed happiness about the win and congratulated the players.
