Sonepat: A group of gangsters armed with rods, sticks and sharp weapons looted 130 bags of wheat from a HAFED godown at Rukhi village in the district on Tuesday night. They tied watchmen Rajroop and Navraj to chairs and gagged them with tapes. The gangsters then loaded 130 wheat bags in two vehicles and other equipment, including inverters and batteries, in another before fleeing. The watchmen managed to untie themselves after some struggle and informed HAFED officials at Gohana. On their complaint, a case has been registered. TNS
