Sanmati Government College for Science Education and Research Jagraon organised a debate, slogan writing and poster-making competition on the theme of road safety to create awareness among the students about traffic rules. The competition was organised under National Road Safety week.
College Director Gurcharan Singh enlightened the students about traffic rules and exhorted them to follow them in spirit so as to save valuable lives. In the debate competition, Jaskiran Kaur bagged first position while Gursimran Kaur and Prabhjot Kaur secured second and third positions, respectively. Jaskiran Kaur also bagged first position in the poster-making competition, while Sandeep Kaur and Priyanka jointly bagged second position whereas Bharti was declared third. In the slogan writing competition, Minakshi bagged first position, Pavneet Kaur got second position whereas Amandeep Kaur bagged third position.
Balwinder Singh, Jatinder Singh, Sumedha Syal, Uzma Azeem, Sumit and Chanderpreet Kaur shouldered the duty as the judges of these competitions. In the end, Ameet Rana proposed the vote of thanks to all present.
