Green Valley residents complain to Municipal Council

KHARAR:Members of the Green Valley Residents Welfare Association met Rajesh Sharma, Executive Officer (EO), Kharar Municipal Council (MC), and submitted a memorandum alleging that an attempt had been made to encroach upon a portion of the road in their society.

Members of the Green Valley Residents Welfare Association met Rajesh Sharma, Executive Officer (EO), Kharar Municipal Council (MC), and submitted a memorandum alleging that an attempt had been made to encroach upon a portion of the road in their society.

The association president, Subhash Magoo, alleged that a few days ago work was started by a coloniser and a complaint was lodged in this connection. He said officials concerned visited the spot and stopped the construction. The work was started on the site again, he added.

The EO asked Harpreet Singh, SDO, MC, to ensure that no one encroached upon the road. He directed officials concerned not to allow construction work till demarcation of the land by the Revenue Department.
