Rlys DGP to be conferred with Prez Police Medal

Railways DGP Jasminder Singh will be honoured with the President’s Police Medal for distinguished service on the Independence Day. Besides him, 14 more police officers have been selected for police medal for meritorious service.

A spokesperson for the Punjab Police said Sri Muktsar Sahib SP Gurmeil Singh, Punjab AIG Rajwinder Singh Sohal and Fatehgarh Sahib DSP Jaswinder Singh Tiwana would be awarded with police medals for meritorious service.

He added that SAS Nagar Inspector Mandeep Singh, Inspector Commissionerate of Police, Ludhiana, Amarjeet Kaur, Inspector, Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur, Vimal Kumar, Inspector in Chandigarh Suresh Kumar, Sub-Inspector, 7th Battalion, PAP, Jalandhar, Sarabjit Singh, Sub-Inspector Bahadurgarh, Patiala, Bhupinder Singh, ASI, special branch, Commissionerate of Police, Ludhiana, Balwant Singh, ASI at Chandigarh Kulwant Singh, Rupnagar ASI Gurdas Singh, Hoshiarpur ASI Ranbir Singh and SAS Nagar Head Constable Krishan Kumar have also been chosen for police medal for meritorious service on the Independence Day.
