Members of the Democratic Teachers’ Union have urged the state government to review its decision to increase the exam fee ahead of the board examinations.

The union has demanded that there must be a concession for the students belonging to the SC community.

The fee has been increased to Rs1, 200 from Rs1, 050.

Ashwani Awasthi, a member of the union, said, “It is about students. It is going to affect the morale of the students. The students belonging to the SC community must get compensation.” — TNS
