Kin of those associated with various wings of the Rotary International vowed to create goodwill for the Global Social organisation though human service and social cause.

An oath was taken in this regard on an appeal made by office-bearers of the Rotary District 3090 during the concluding session of the seminar in Bathinda on Sunday.

District Governor Dr VB Dixit presided over the seminar. Rotary Public Image Coordinator Ashish Desai and Rotary Assistant Coordinator (membership) Gurjit Singh Sekhon were the keynote speakers.

Speakers said all members of the families associated with various wings of the organisation should demonstrate their concern for the service of society through action.

“We can be called Rotarian only if we serve the mankind, otherwise we will remain just like members of any other organisation,” said PDG Vijay Gupta, maintaining that fellowship and schooling were only byproducts of being associated with a social organisation.
