Religious leaders vow to make environment pollution-free

LUDHIANA: The Punjab unit of the Foundation for Religious Harmony and Universal Peace (FRHUP) and the Human Rights Protection Council jointly held an event on environment at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan here today.

The Punjab unit of the Foundation for Religious Harmony and Universal Peace (FRHUP) and the Human Rights Protection Council jointly held an event on environment at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan here today. Leaders of various religious organiations and communities participated in the event.

Kunwar Onkar Singh Narula, Punjab Convener of FRHUP, said the religious leaders appealed to people to make the environment clean and pollution-free. They emphasised on swachhata.

The religious leaders gave a message to curb air, water and soil pollution to make the environment pollution-free, he added.

Col TP Tyagi, general secretary of FRHUP, told the gathering as to how they could contribute to make the environment pollution-free. He appealed to the people to come forward to support the cause.
