RCF employees, kin hold protest

JALANDHAR: Members of RCF Bachao Sangharsh Committee today held a massive rally in the township of the rail coach factory today against an alleged move to convert it into a corporation or privatise it.

Members of RCF Bachao Sangharsh Committee today held a massive rally in the township of the rail coach factory today against an alleged move to convert it into a corporation or privatise it.

Family members of employees of the RCF have been holding protests for the past many days but today their wives and children also joined in at Dasehra Ground in the RCF complex.

Sarabjit Singh, secretary of the committee, said the proposal to convert it into a corporation was only a hoax as the ultimate plan was to privatise it, which they will oppose tooth and nail.
