Rampal followers hold demo, submit memo

ROHTAK: Followers of Satlok Ashram head Rampal, who is serving life imprisonment, on Sunday staged a demonstration and submitted a memorandum in the name of the President of India to the district authorities.

Followers of Satlok Ashram head Rampal, who is serving life imprisonment, on Sunday staged a demonstration and submitted a memorandum in the name of the President of India to the district authorities.

They were demanding the withdrawal of cases against Rampal, claiming that he had been “implicated in cases under a deep-rooted conspiracy”.

Earlier, many protesters from various districts assembled at the Mansarovar park in the morning and proceeded towards the mini-secretariat here and submitted their memorandum to a government representative.
