Ram Swaroop to file papers tomorrow

MANDI: BJP MLA from Sundernagar Rakesh Jamwal said BJP candidate Ram Swaroop Sharma would file nomination papers on April 24.

BJP MLA from Sundernagar Rakesh Jamwal said BJP candidate Ram Swaroop Sharma would file nomination papers on April 24.

“Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, former CMs Shanta Kumar and Prem Kumar Dhumal, BJP state affairs in charge for Lok Sabha poll Tirath Singh Rawat, BJP state president Satpal Singh Satti and other party workers will arrive here,” he added.

“A procession will be held from Paddal Ground to Seri Manch in the town in which a large number of BJP supporters will take part. A public meeting will be held at Seri Manch to seek the support of people for the BJP candidate,” he said.

CPM candidate Dalip Kayastha will file his nomination tomorrow. CPM leader Subhashini Ali Sehgal addressed a press conference here and said the CPM would urge people to support its candidate.
