The District and Sessions Judge on Tuesday fixed August 29 for pronouncing quantum of sentence to all three convicts after in-camera hearing in Yug Murder case.
All the three accused in sensational Yug Gupta murder case--Chander Sharma, Tajender and Vikrant-- were held guilty by the District and Sessions Court on Tuesday under Sections 302 (murder), 201 (disappearance of evidence/false information), 342 (wrongful confinement), 364A (kidnapping for ransom) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC on August 13 last.
Statements of father of Chander and Tajender and mother of Vikrant were recorded and arguments were completed and the sentence is expected on the next hearing said District Attorney Randip Singh Parmar.
There are 105 evidences in the case. The charges were framed on January 23, 2017 and evidence in the case started on February 20, 2017.
