PU Rose Festival concludes

Chandigarh, February 10

 On the concluding day of the Rose Festival’s at Prof RC Paul Rose Garden in Panjab University, Gauransh Gauransh, Anav Doad and Saarthak Arya were crowned Rose Prince in age categories 0 to 1, 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 year, respectively, while Ditvi Jindal, Aadvika Sharma, and Priyam Kaur bagged the title of Rose Princess in the above-mentioned age groups.

In poetry recitation, Ayush Khanna, Drishti Azad and Gagandeep Singh stood first, while Aryaman, Sheetal and Baljinder Singh Gill won the painting competition. Making heads turn, Anshita Thakur, Vidhur Gulati, Alesha, Gurnoor Kaur, Sneha Gupta and Shubhpreet Kaur bagged the first prize in a fancy dress competition while Ankita Thakur, Gauri and Sahil Kashayap took away the winner’s trophy in a dance competition.

Duos Debsamita Dutta and Tamanna Rattnam, Alisha Walia and Hanya, and Sargam and Kajal danced their way to the top in a duet dance completion while in the group dance competition Ritika Dance Centre  and Trend Group were declared the winners. — TNS
