Navjot Sidhu calls Priyanka ‘Kohinoor’

New Delhi: Punjab Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday invited sarcasm for comparing Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the AICC general secretary for eastern UP, with the Kohinoor, with some Twitter followers attacking him for being “over generous” and some asking, “What do you know of the diamond?”. Sidhu posted a series of tweets praising Priyanka, Rahul Gandhi and AICC general secretary for West UP Jyotoraditya Scindia. In a flattering tweet, he wrote, “Diamonds are forever, so is @priyankagandhi Lucknow Welcomes the Kohinoor!”. TNS

AAP’s ‘Your MLA on the doorstep’ from Feb 15 

New Delhi: The AAP will launch a campaign — “Your MLA and councillor on the doorstep” — from February 15 to step up attack against the BJP-led government at the Centre ahead of the LS elections.
