New Delhi, November 12
Congress president Rahul Gandhi today retorted to PM Narendra Modi’s jibe on him and his mother Sonia Gandhi over National Herald case and again called the PM a “thief”.
The trigger was PM’s public address in Chhattisgarh where he attacked the Gandhi family and said both mother and son were out on bail for “money laundering in the National Herald” case. The PM said demonetisation had led to crackdown of shell firms, including National Herald.
Gandhi tweeted: “The PM’s latest Demonetisation barf is, “Shell Firms”. Ironically, the only “Shell” firms identified after great Demonetisation tragedy are: JAY SHAH’S, Temple Enterprises PIYUSH GOYAL’s Flashnet ANIL AMBANI’S, Reliance Airports It takes a thief to know a thief (sic).” — TNS
