Paying tributes to two jawans of Bihar who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the fire raging within you is in my heart as well.

The PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 33,000 crore in Bihar, including the long-awaited Patna Metro Rail Project.

At the Barauni refinery, he said, “I salute and pay my tributes to Sanjay Kumar Sinha and Ratan Kumar Thakur (two of the martyred jawans who hailed from the state). I condole the bereaved families. To the people who have gathered here, I would like to say the fire that is raging in your bosoms, is in my heart too.”

He said the NDA government worked on its two visions — infrastructure development and providing basic amenities to those who had been struggling for these for the past 70 years.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, who shared the dais with PM Modi second time after he embraced the NDA by dumping the grand alliance in July 2017, said, “The Centre and the state each will bear 20 per cent cost of the Rs13,365-crore Patna Metro project and the rest amount will be funded through a loan. The 31.39-km Metro project will be completed in the next 3-5 years.
