Plea on telecast of sessions disposed of

CHANDIGARH: Just about a week after Sunam MLA Aman Arora sought directions for live telecast of Assembly sessions for providing people “free and full access” to debates and other activities of their elected representatives, the Punjab and Haryana High Court today disposed of the petition with directions for deciding a representation in this regard.

The Bench of Justice Mahesh Grover and Justice Lalit Batra told Advocate-General Atul Nanda to take a decision on the representation. — TNS
