PGI gets 25-acre land for satellite centre

FEROZEPUR: After several years of dilly-dallying, officials of the PGIMER, Chandigarh, today finally took possession of 25 acres on the Ferozepur-Moga road for setting up 100-bedded PGI Satellite Centre in this border region which was sanctioned way back in 2013 during the UPA-II regime.

After several years of dilly-dallying, officials of the PGIMER, Chandigarh, today finally took possession of 25 acres on the Ferozepur-Moga road for setting up 100-bedded PGI Satellite Centre in this border region which was sanctioned way back in 2013 during the UPA-II regime.

A PGIMER team, including Dr Ashok Kumar and Dr Sameer Aggarwal, took the possession of the land which was handed over to them by SDM Amit Gupta in the presence of MLA Parminder Singh Pinki, Deputy Commissioner Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal and other officials. — OC
