PDP president visits slain cop’s residence

SRINAGAR: PDP president and former CM Mehbooba Mufti visited the residence of deceased police officer Arshid Ahmad Khan here on Tuesday and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

PDP president and former CM Mehbooba Mufti visited the residence of deceased police officer Arshid Ahmad Khan here on Tuesday and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Arshad Khan, SHO of Anantnag Sadar police station, was killed in an encounter between militants and security forces on Khanabal-Pahalgam road on June 12.

Mehbooba expressed solidarity with his family members and prayed for strength and patience to them to deal with this great loss. — TNS
