PCTE holds start-up master class

LUDHIANA: The entrepreneurship cell of Punjab College of Technical Eduction Group of Institutes and the department of business management organised a start-up master class to promote and foster start-up ecosystem in the region, where around 250 participants from the start-up community and professionals attended and benefited from the programme.

The entrepreneurship cell of Punjab College of Technical Eduction Group of Institutes and the department of business management organised a start-up master class to promote and foster start-up ecosystem in the region, where around 250 participants from the start-up community and professionals attended and benefited from the programme.

KS Bhatia, chairman, Punjab start-up committee, PHD Chamber and co-founder and CEO, Pumpkart.com, said the vision of the Punjab start-up committee is to create 20 big start-ups from the region by 2022. He shared his success story and motivated participants to dream big and have passion for entrepreneurial endeavour.

Pushpinder Singh, director, TAN Advisors Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana, discussed the idea generation and how to pitch ideas during the programme.

CA Gaurav Singhal, co- chairman, Punjab Taxation Committee and director, Heads Up Consulting P. Ltd., Gurugram, said an important first step in starting up a business is incorporation of a legal vehicle/ entity. — TNS
