Bhunder, other Akali leaders join in protest

SAMRALA:Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Balwinder Singh Bhunder, along with other senior Akali Dal leaders, today visited Samrala and participated in the ongoing protest for the demand for a passage to Jhar Sahib road from Samrala bypass.

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Balwinder Singh Bhunder, along with other senior Akali Dal leaders, today visited Samrala and participated in the ongoing protest for the demand for a passage to Jhar Sahib road from Samrala bypass.

In his address to the protesters, he said he had taken this matter with Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari and Gadkari had sought a report from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in this regard. He expressed full support to this struggle and assured them that they would get this passage cleared from Gadkari in a few days.
