Loktantra Suraksha Party supremo and former MP Raj Kumar Saini on Sunday announced that the party would allocate 45 seats to OBC nominees, 18 to Dalits and 27 to general category candidates during the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.

He hinted at an alliance with like-minded parties. He was addressing a rally on the occasion of the party’s foundation day here.

He termed CM Manohar Lal Khattar as the biggest enemy of Dalits. He alleged that Khattar had paid Rs2.65 crore to the legal fraternity from the account of the Backward Class Commission to benefit reservation to a particular caste.

Saini alleged that Khattar had burnt the state for his selfish political interests. He questioned the Chief Minister over seeking blessings from people during his Jan Ashirwaad Yatra. “Instead of blessing him, people are all set to uproot the BJP,” he remarked.

Taking a dig at the BJP’s slogan of ‘75-plus’, Saini said 52 per cent BC and 23 per cent Dalit population were enough to throw out the BJP from power.

During his address, he said he was open to the option of an alliance and the party would contest elections from all 90 seats.
