A 38-year-old Pakistani national was arrested near the India-Pakistan border in Ferozepur district, an official said on Saturday.

Yakub, a resident of Kamalia village in Tobha Tek Singh district in Pakistan, was found to be roaming under suspicious circumstances on Friday night near Border Outpost Donald Rai Dina Nath and was arrested by personnel of 118 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), the official said.

Four visiting cards, a few papers and two religious caps have been recovered from his possession. He seems to be mentally unstable. Later, the BSF handed him over to the police at the Lakho Ke Behram police station after preliminary interrogation.
